With 'Captain America 2' about to reveal its first footage at Comic-Con 2013, the marketing campaign is heating up. Just earlier this week we got our first look at the film's poster and today, we get a new look at some 'Captain America' concept art, highlighting what looks to be the climactic battle in the film between Cap and his former sidekick, and current nemesis, The Winter Soldier.

After some intense production in the Big Apple, complete with Paul Giamatti's Rhino going berserk on the general public, 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' is ready to hit San Diego for Comic-Con 2013. But first, our hero, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man, and our primary villain, Jamie Foxx's Electro, face off in the latest issue of EW.

We're still not sure exactly what we'll see from Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' panel at the upcoming Comic-Con 2013 panel, but if the latest promo introducing Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) is any indication, we're in for some new footage and a much more in-depth introduction to the new characters. Comic-Con 2013 has unveiled its full panel schedule for opening day on Thursday, July 18. Among the many TV and comic book panels are a few big movies (and big names) for you to look forward to, including 'Ender's Game,' 'Divergent,' and a chat with Edgar Wright, Alfonso Cuaron, and Marc Webb.

The studios are starting to announce all their Comic-Con 2013 panels (we should have a full schedule by the end of the week), and the latest is Columbia Pictures, who will be bringing 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2,' and their 'Robocop' remake to San Diego.

Marvel will be at Comic-Con 2013 in full force, as today they announced their plans to show off 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' 'Thor: The Dark World,' and have noted that they'll be talking about the "ever-expanding Marvel cinematic universe."

Often the best way to make fans happy with a reboot/new version of something old is to respect what came before it by involving the original creator(s) with the update. And 'The Crow' reboot has done just that by hiring comic book writer James O'Barr (who created the character) as a consultant for the upcoming film.

Last year's Comic-Con saw FX offering somewhat of a reduced presence without 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' but given the upcoming spinoff network FXX, Comic-Con 2013 will herald the Paddy's Pub gang's glorious San Diego return. Joining 'Archer,' 'Wilfred' and 'Sons of Anarchy,' FX has announced its full slate of panels for the upcoming pop culture pilgrimage.

Although San Diego Comic-Con is traditionally known for its massive panels celebrating the most-anticipated films and most-popular TV shows in the geek world, it also plays host to countless other projects, many of which often seem to get lost. Hopefully, that won't happen to 'The Sidekick,' a new superhero-themed short film that will premiere at Comic-Con 2013 and has some pretty big ambitions. R
