Eric Clapton led a musical tribute to Jack Bruce at his former Cream bandmate's funeral in North London earlier today, singing the Beatles' 'Strawberry Fields Forever' with help from friends and family.

Jack Bruce fans will have the chance to pay their respects to the legendary bassist at the start of his memorial service, which has been opened to the public.

Jack Bruce, bassist and singer of Cream, has died at the age of 71.

Well today we are off the drums and on to some bass. And what a great song with a hot bass line. Today's song is Badge by Cream some Jack Bruce. I have always loved this song and I always thought the bass line is what made the song great. The song was written by George Harrison and Eric Clapton...

Jack Bruce, the former bassist and singer for Cream, will release a new album, ’Silver Rails,’ in March 2014. The record is his first solo effort since 2003’s ‘More Jack Than God.’
