DeYoung's current solo band is geared toward recreating the classic Styx sound as closely as possible, and the singer, songwriter and keyboardist has revealed that he is hoping to re-stage the superstar rock group's most successful tour for an upcoming DVD release.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Styx guitarist/singer Tommy Shaw all but shut the door on a reunion with original singer/keyboardist Dennis DeYoung in a <a href="http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/News/styx-0710-2011" target="_blank">recent interview</a>, but DeYoung said he’s open to the idea.</p>
<p>“Look, nobody is a bigger fan of Tommy Shaw than me,” DeYoung said to <em><a href="http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/dennis-deyoung-open-to-a-styx-reunion-20110727?page=2" target="_blank">Rolling Stone</a></em>. “The day I met him in 1975 I knew he was going to be a great guitar player, performer and songwriter. I was his biggest fan, and I’m Styx’s number one fan. Now am I going to sit here and tell you that it was a bed of roses?”</p>
