Today's lesson is one that I think I have done before but someone asked me to put Sweet Home Alabama on my lessons so here it is. Any Lynyrd Skynyrd is a great song to learn for playing in a band. All Skynyrd is good for the bar circuit as every one knows the beat and can dance to it...

Well I don't think you can play enough Lynyrd Skynyrd if you are in an active band.Or even if you are playing by yourself at home. Most Skynyrd songs are pretty easy and won't take to long to learn. Plus they are a major crowd pleaser because most people can sing along because they know the words...

Today's lesson is some old Lynyrd Skynyrd from their Second Helping album a tune called Curtis Loew. They say this song is about Ricky Medlocke's Grandfather Shorty who was a bluegrass picker and used to sit on the bank and play music for Ronnie and the guys while they were fishing...
