Before the current season of 'Modern Family' began (and before all those incredible salary re-negotiations and strikes threatened to derail everything), we were excited that 'Bridesmaids' and former 'Reno 911!' star Wendi McLendon-Covey was to guest on the Emmy-winning series as a lesbian rival to Cam and Mitchell.
