This summer it was suggested that Bruce Springsteen may have to be without Steven Van Zandt for dates in 2013 due to the guitarist's previous acting commitments. Today, Springsteen announced that Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine will take over for Van Zandt when Springsteen tours Australia in March.
Bruce Springsteen‘s current tour is scheduled to end on Sept. 22. However, there are already whispers of more dates being added in the fall. Should the tour extend into 2013, there is a good chance that Steven Van Zandt will have to miss some of the shows.
