If you were one of the nearly 2,000 people who showed up for Billings Baconfest on Saturday, hopefully you stuck around long enough to see our buddies in the band Downtime.  Not only did they kick out the jams for two solid hours, they pulled off one of the coolest things I have ever seen a band do on stage.

Due to the overwhelming attendance, the lines were long.  Especially the lines for the bars.  So Downtime took matters into their own hands.  Before they went on stage, they purchased two cases of beer out of their own pockets.  During their performance, they actually started giving away brewskis to the folks who were waiting in line.  I have never seen a band do that before.

Not only were they cool enough to hand out free beer to the audience, they also kicked ass.  We want to thank all of the guys in Downtime for being part of our event.  If you have a business and you're planning an event, check them out online at http://www.bookdowntime.com/.
