The Best Baseball Promotion Ever

Before I moved to Billings, I spent a year in the town of San Angelo, Texas.  Last night, the local minor league baseball team, the San Angelo Colts hosted the greatest promotional I've ever seen.

For starters, it was Thirsty Thursdays.  One dollar beers are served every Thursday night home game during the season.  But this wasn't just your ordinary, run of the mill, Thirsty Thursday.  Last night, they also had the brilliant idea of honoring single mothers on "Single Mom's Night".

Single Mom Night and One Dollar Beers?  That's a match made in heaven.  If there's anything I love more than one dollar beers, it's washing them down with a bunch of drunken single moms.  This is the kind of creative ingenuity that makes me proud to be an American.

Billings Mustangs, what are you waiting for?  We need to put Single Mom's Night and Dollar Beer Night on the promo schedule pronto.
