The Federal Government Is Now Prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse

Every weekday afternoon for the rest of the month, the Hawk is hooking up headbangers with tickets and meet and greet passes for the Night of the Living Dreads concert with Rob Zombie and Korn next month in Butte.  Rock on with the Hawk on every afternoon just after 5 and hopefully you'll win. In the meantime, here's another fine example of your tax dollars at work.  The United States government recently launched a website that offers warning tips for a potential "zombie pandemic".  Seriously.

If you'd like to prepare yourself for a zombie attack, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, part of the Office of Public Heath, has your back online at http://www.cdc.gov/phpr/zombies.htm.  The website suggests that you "log on, get a kit, make a plan and be prepared."  Now if we can only send some zombies to Washington, D.C., maybe we can finally get something done on Capitol Hill.
