The Greatest “Ugly Rock Star Scores Gorgeous Supermodel” Story…Ever

Ugly rock stars and gorgeous women go together like peanut butter and jelly.  Ric Ocasek, Gene Simmons, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Axl Rose are just a few of the goofy, gangly, awkward looking rockers who somehow managed to win the hearts of famous supermodels.  But those guys have nothing on Billy Joel.

According to a new book, "'Billy Joel: The Definitive Biography", the legendary Piano Man was once involved in a love triangle between two of the most beautiful bombshells on the planet, supermodels Christie Brinkley and Elle Macpherson.

The author claims that Joel met both Brinkley and Macpherson back in 1983 and began dating them both.  As things progressed in his relationship with Brinkley, he invited her back to his New York City apartment one evening.  However, his plans were thwarted when they arrived to discover Macpherson was already there waiting for Billy.

As the story goes, Brinkley left Joel and Macpherson at his apartment that night.  However, she continued dating the musician and the two were later married.  I like Billy Joel as much as the next guy, but I've got new found respect for him now. Not even the wildest tales of drug fueled rock 'n' roll debauchery can hold a candle to Joel's historic conquests.
