The Price Of Gas

There's one thing I don't understand about the price of gas. How come when it goes down it drops a penny at a time and when it goes up it's a dime at a time? That makes no sense to me.(well maybe greed)
And now they have pretty much shut down the Bocken because we have too much oil. Now they are gonna start shipping oil overseas. I sure hope they charge them as much as they charged us when gas was five dollars a gallon and we were importing oil. (let's not eat and fill the car)
And if they are why does our gas go up?                                                                         ( Don't get me wrong I'm glad we're not paying $5 a gallon)

Gas in my neighborhood just jumped a dime in the last week I think they should raise the price the same as they lower it.
But that is just a thought!
