With the recent launch of their own official line of Converse All Stars, Black Sabbath has stepped into the shoe business.  The iconic metal pioneers are the latest in a long line of bands that with their own brand of sneakers.  Yesterday, Sabbath announced a partnership with Converse, releasing four new signature Chuck Taylor hi-tops.  The Sabbath All Stars come in different designs, each one representing a classic album.

Not surprisingly, Kiss was the first band to jump into the shoe game.  They teamed up with Vans for the "KISS Vans" line back in 2010.  Metallica followed suit shortly thereafter with the "Kill 'Em All" series.  Now, the Vans brand extends to a variety of acts including Iron Maiden, Slayer, Rob Zombie and many more.

Not to be outdone, Eddie Van Halen decided to forego the partnership route and actually founded his own brand of shoes, called EVH Sneakers.  The EVH kicks come in a variety of colors and are inspired by Eddie's legendary striped guitars.
