What Is Going on This Weekend in Billings Besides A Carnival?
Just by the number of events and activities going on this weekend in Billings you can just feel the Spring season! I noticed a carnival set up at 1st Avenue and Main Street! There are two big events that begin Billings weekend for April 25-27th.
The Montana Brewers Spring Festival is going on at MetraPark on Friday.
The largest collection of Montana-made beer ever gathered in eastern Montana, it’s one-stop access to unique Montana brewers and their beers- Billings365.com
Also Friday night it is the 1920′s themed Casino Night event with the Jaycees, part of the second annual Rotary Night Out at The Northern in Downtown Billings beginning at 5:30 p.m. This is a fundraiser this year for the Friendship House to help with the purchase of new kitchen items!
There is still time for you to get a team together for the annual March of Dimes, March For Babies with VW Billings and Townsquare Media. You can begin registering on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at Zoo Montana for the 5K or 10K Dash For Dimes as well as the actual walk rain or shine!
There is also an all day event on Saturday at the Billings Family YMCA. The Y’s Health Day For Families is going on with crafts and activities for the kids as well as adults. Come watch Mayor Hanel play basketball against a bunch of 4th graders too!
Also on Saturday, April 26th is the final home game for the Laurel Loco Express Minor League Football team taking on the Blaze from Missoula at 2:45 p.m. It is Military Appreciation Day with the Loco Express at the Laurel Sports Complex which is fitting since the 8th Big Sky Honor Flight for WWII Vets flies to D.C. on Sunday, April 27th.
That should be enough to get your weekend started!
