Remember these three little words? "Tag, you're it."  We played tag for hours growing up and kids still play it today.

I happen to be watching the news last night and there is a school in Washington State near Seattle that is trying to ban tag and patty-cake.

Apparently the school district feels that playing tag is to touchy.

Their  rationale is that if you ban tag then it will ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students.

After a ton of media attention and parents calling, the school has decided to not ban tag, but .... There's always a "but" isn't there?

Instead of just regular old tag the kids must play flag tag.

These means that to tag someone else you need to pull the flag from their waist, same theory as flag football.

Really?  Come on.  What's next? A ban on hopscotch?
