Wow, What a Great Billings Dad’s Day Weekend! [PICTURES]
As this Father’s Day weekend comes to and end with a thunderstorm rolling through Billings, I reflect back on what a great Dad’s Day weekend it was!Keri’s Grandma Dawn and Grandpa Gus stopped by with my family for a BBQ on Saturday evening. Great time and stories including our new story about our fire we had on our deck!
This is what is left of the grill’s fuel cable leading to the BBQ! It caught fire with a big gust of wind as I was finishing up steaks and chicken on the grill. I think the olive oil in the grill packs got to hot and started a blaze. I managed to save the food and get the fire out in less than 1 minute! Sure was funny after the fact!
Not sure what Keri and Tracy are up to in this picture!
Thank you for taking part in all of the Saturday activities in Billings too. The Heart and Sole Race had 3,503 participants for the 35th annual event for the YMCA and Bike Net! Great turnout for the Strawberry Festival and March Against Drugs and Violence too, held at the same time downtown.
Also enjoyed my time with the Boot Barn staff during a live broadcast on Cat Country 102.9 during their Father’s Day Sale! And congratulations to Brock Madson on winning the Headwaters County Jam tickets from Boot Barn! That will be a great concert event in Three Forks beginning on June 26th!
Check out the old father and son photos we found in our family archive! Livin’ Large Larry, Bobby and Devin!
I hope you too had a great Father’s Day! Back to the grind on Monday!
