ZooMontana’s first WinterFest fundraiser concert has been pushed back to April 28.  The concert was originally planned for March 24, but a scheduling conflict forced the date change, according to the Billings Gazette.   Headlining will be Dennis Quaid and the Sharks at the Babcock Theatre beginning at 7 p.m.

Quaid, an actor and musician who has appeared and more than 70 films and television shows, is the lead singer and plays rhythm guitar.

Also performing will be Dan Page and the Barn Cats and Rob Quist and the House of Quist.

Originally in the lineup for the fundraiser was the trio of Wally Kurth, Christian Taylor and Pat McCormack, who won’t be able to perform due to scheduling conflicts.

Jeff Ewelt, the zoo’s executive director, says all proceeds from the show will go to education and conservation work at the zoo.

WinterFest tickets are available at ZooMontana, 2100 S. Shiloh Rd., or the Red Door, 3875 Grand Ave.  General admission tickets are $58 and VIP tickets — which include a dinner and silent auction at 5 p.m., reserved seats and access to an after show party — are $138.
