Chili Cook Off to Benefit Veteran’s Meat Locker

On Saturday, November 9 from 11a-2p at the American Legion in Billings at 1540 Broadwater Ave, the 5 Billings and Laurel area Exchange Clubs will be hosting a Veteran’s Day celebration chili cook-off. Proceeds from the event will benefit Veteran’s Meat Locker whose mission is to help all Veterans by providing them with frozen processed meat for them and their families. Veterans Meat Locker will also be doing free meat distribution during the event. They will not turn away any Veteran regardless of branch or service record.
This event is FREE for Veterans and is $10 for all others. Admission includes cups to sample all of the different chilies and one bowl of chili of the attendee’s choice. Hot dogs will also be served for an added cost.
Exchange, America’s Premier Service Club, is working to make our communities better places to live. The Exchange Club of Billings was chartered in 1967. The clubs provide members with numerous volunteer opportunities in support of Americanism, community service, prevention of child abuse and youth development.
