Additional Information

After a fantastic first summer in 2018, The Harlo Music Project is excited to announce an excellent lineup for the 2019 Summer Festival Series!

The first festival is on Saturday, June 22 featuring joyous folk-pop band Kuinka out of Seattle as the headliner. The June Festival will also include Colorado-based Pandas & People and local favorites Arterial Drive and Dan Dubuque. The second festival is on Saturday, August 10 featuring popular Bozeman ‘galaxy grass’ group Kitchen Dwellers as the headliner. The August Festival boasts Michigan Rattlers, Dodgy Mountain Men, and Wes Urbaniak & The Mountain Folk. Urbaniak’s trio and Dodgy Mountain Men are the only returns from last summer; back by popular demand. The September 7th festival will wrap up the summer, joining forces with Whiskey Bent’s 2nd Annual Roughstock Futurity, also happening in Harlowton. Red Shahan, the red-headed troubadour from Texas will headline alongside Eilen Jewell of Boise. Regional bands The Two Tracks and The Hellroaring will complete the September festival.

The concerts are funded solely by sponsorships and ticket sales, and the Harlowton community is enthusiastic and supportive of the venture. The project has raised $11,000 so far this year for the 2019 Festival Series. With food and drink vendors, face painting, and camping nearby, these festivals are fun for everyone. Tickets are $20 advance or $25 day of show, and can be purchased online at harlomusicproject.com, at Gally’s Brewing Company in Harlowton, or at the gate. Children 12 and under are free!  For any event-related questions contact Kendra at kgalahan@gmail.com.
