The Billings Fire Department works hard to use the latest education, methods, and technology to provide excellent emergency services to our community. They want to be the best at providing emergency help in Billings and, their motto, "Our Family Serving Your Family," shows that they see residents of all ages as part of their own family and are dedicated to taking care of all of us.

The Billings Fire Department has announced the dates for this year's station tours, giving our community a chance to get an up-close look at fire apparatus and tools, while learning about fire safety and the important role of firefighters in our community.

Billings Fire Department Tour Schedule

The station tour dates are as follows:
March 6 - Station 3, 1928 17th Street West
April 17 - Station 6, 1601 St. Andrews Drive
May 1 - Station 8, 760 Lake Elmo Drive
June 5 - Station 5, 605 South 24th Street West
July 10 - Station 7, 1501 54th Street West
August 21 - Station 4, 475 6th Street West
September 18 - Station 2, 501 South 28th Street

Tours are by appointment only, and individuals, groups, and organizations interested in a tour should call (406)237-6193 to schedule a visit.

Community Safety Day

The final event of the season will be the 3rd Annual Open House and Community Safety Day at Station 1 on October 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will provide the Billings community with an array of safety knowledge with the Fire Department partnering with local organizations to bring everything together all under one roof.

The Community Safety Day is open to all ages, free, and open to the public, making it a great opportunity for members of the Billings community members to learn about safety and engage with local organizations.

Where Are These Kids? 14 Children Missing From Billings

There are currently 34 children reported missing in Montana. Of the 34 missing children in Montana, 14 are from Billings and/or Yellowstone County.
