10 Years Strong – Yellowstone Valley Gives Returns May 1-2
Hey, Eastern Montana, it’s your time to shine! Yellowstone Valley Gives is coming your way this Thursday and Friday, May 1–2, 2025, and this year, we’re celebrating something big: 10 years of showing up for each other.
Whether you’ve given before or this is your first time, you’re invited to be part of a movement that’s helped shape and strengthen our region for a full decade.
You’ve Helped Build a Legacy of Giving
Since Yellowstone Valley Gives first launched, your generosity has helped raise over $1 million for nonprofits all across Eastern Montana. That’s money going straight to causes you care about, like veterans services, education, the arts, housing, and healthcare.
This year, we’re aiming even higher. With more than 110 nonprofits involved and over $100,000 in incentive grants and sponsorships ready to go, your gift could help unlock even more support. And with a goal of reaching 2,000 donors, maybe you’ll become one of them.

“Yellowstone Valley Gives is a celebration of the generosity, resilience, and heart of our region,” said Zack Terakedis, Executive Director of the Billings Community Foundation. “Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to the incredible momentum that’s building here. We’ve done so much together already, and this year, we’re inviting everyone to help us take it to the next level.”

Find Your People, Find Your Cause
On May 1 and 2, you’ll have plenty of chances to connect, online and in person. Whether you’re giving from your phone or heading out to an event, there are tons of ways to get involved:
Kickoff Celebration: May 1, 12–2 p.m. at the Billings Community Foundation. Come grab some food, enjoy live music, and soak in the community vibe.
The Base Camp (Billings Grand Ave.): Join the celebration with local nonprofits like TrailNet, Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Foundation, and Beartooth Trails, plus live updates and community fun.
Diamond X Event: Bring the family out to support Chase Hawks Memorial Association.
Veterans Navigation Network Open House at the VFW: A chance to show up for those who’ve served us.
Comedy Night at the Babcock Theatre: Grab some friends and laugh for a cause; proceeds benefit Gratitude in Action.
How You Can Give
It’s super easy to join in. Head to www.yellowstonegives.org anytime on May 1 or 2, and donate to the causes that mean the most to you. You can search by organization, category, or even location. Donations start at just $5, and no amount is too small to make a difference.
