Big personality in a small package.

Meet Gracie, our featured Wet Nose Wednesday adoptable pet from Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings. Gracie arrived at the shelter yesterday as a surrender (sad, right?) and is now ready for a loving, forever home.

A seven-year-old American Bully mix.

This compact girl has lots of energy and loves treats, playtime, and naps. She may not do well with other dogs in the house (depending on the situation) but she loves humans.

She's a silly little sweetie.

Gracie lit up our studio this morning with her fun personality. She's a good-looking dog, with a few small white markings on her mostly black coat, and a smattering of "freckles" on her face.

YVAS has helped thousands of animals find new homes.

Founded in 2007, Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter takes in more than 5,000 animals annually. The non-profit, 501(c)(3) is the largest shelter in the state and has outgrown its current facility on Monad Road.

Planning and fundraising continue for the construction of a new facility that will be built on donated land at Wilson Park (off Riverside Road, south of the sugar beet factory).

Urgent Request: kitten foster homes are needed.

Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter is currently caring for several litters of very special tiny kittens who have been diagnosed with ringworm. These little furballs are too small and fragile to stay in the shelter while undergoing treatment, and they need a warm, loving foster home to help them heal and grow strong. Contact YVAS if you're interested in becoming a foster home.

You can browse all the pets currently up for adoption at the shelter HERE. Thank you, Shipton's Big R for supporting animal adoption in the Billings area.
