It's been a rough week for food truck news in Billings.

Earlier, we covered the heartbreaking news that Kaj Clark passed away after a battle with health issues. Clark's family celebrated his life Saturday in Laurel, giving friends and family one last chance to enjoy those delicious tacos from the Crazy Taco MT food truck.

Family of Clark's are unable to to continue to operate the Crazy Taco MT truck. We heard a rumor they might print a cookbook of Kaj's tasty taco recipes, should fans hope to replicate his one-of-a-kind flavors in their home kitchen.

Fans of Dax's Wingz & Thingz expressed sadness about the news.

Digging through the comments, the restaurant and food truck owner confirmed that the food truck and the small take-out restaurant on 2nd Ave North are closed, effective 10/7. A somewhat cryptic comment from the eatery revealed an interesting tidbit,

...we are not gone forever

Fans are keeping their saucy fingers crossed that one of Billings' best wing joints will rise from the ashes at some point to keep that delicious mango habanero, huckleberry BBQ, and garlic parm baskets of perfectly cooked, crispy wings coming.
