Duck Creek bridge over the Yellowstone River west of Billings will be closed intermittently later this summer and perhaps into early fall, according to a 7/12 press release from Yellowstone County.

The bridge is due for necessary scour maintenance. Yellowstone County officials said the structural repairs require "periodic, maybe lengthy closures of the Duck Creek Bridge."

The exact dates have not been announced, but officials say the bridge closure will impact mail delivery, school buses, and public traffic in and out of the area south of the Yellowstone River. The County provided an alternate route map (below).
