These two peas in a pod are looking for a retirement home to take them in and bring them to see their dad regularly before they cross the rainbow bridge into dog heaven. They're older with only a few years left in this good life and are a bonded pair, so we need your help!

The back story of Kimber and Jessie
I started following this story on social media via a Billings resident @sheltermom on Instagram who regularly volunteers at YVAS (Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter).
Her heart is huge and giving back to homeless pets is her calling on this earth.

Kimber and Jessie's former guardian Dean, was brought to a long term care facility in Billings after having surgery and he will be there for the long haul.
Dean wasn't able to bring his beloved dogs with him to the facility and his family lives in other states.
He's obviously been heart broken ever since he arrived at the facility; these two are his absolute best friends. 💔

Where are the dogs now?
In the latest video, he’s seen getting a lovely visit from his two best friends Kimber and Jessie.
Tears were abundant, especially on my part. The dogs showed a lot of emotion too.
The dogs are currently at the Granite Peak Vet Hospital in Billings, and it does cost money to host these dogs there which Deans son out of Texas, is paying for.
The dogs are very well-behaved, trained, and love to cuddle. See below.

The Mission
We are on a mission to find the last home these two pups will stay at, and hoping the new dog guardians can bring them to Dean's facility for regular visits. The two are a bonded pair, which can be hard to re-home...
But I know there is someone out here in Billings that's willing to give them the best, last years of their life. We can do this!

Marge from Pooch'z (our local senior dog sanctuary in Billings) was contacted by Dean's son in Texas. But Pooch'z is currently full, so they are boarded at Granite Peak.
