When you make the trip from the Montana Hi Line to what seemed like the big city of Billings...you had to stop at the Busy Bee in Roundup. After 80 years, that Montana landmark is now closed.

After over 12 years serving the cowboys and cowgirls at BLS in Billings, Derek Hitt is closing the long-standing cafe doors.

It's inspiring to see a few new deli's throwing their hats in the lunchtime arena. All three of the places I visited are locally owned and all of them make great lunches

I happened to be up in the Heights last week, delivering free pizza to our Free Pizza Friday winners and noticed a new sign at the former Golden Phoenix restaurant for the Tippy Cow Cafe. I can't wait to try it. Another cool thing... they plan to be open 24 hours.

Can’t wait for Alive After 5 this week!  One of my favorite local bands is headlining the fun this Thursday night in downtown Billings!  Be sure to come out and join us at Q Cuisine, Café Italia and The McCormick Café for live music from none other than Funk in the Trunk!  Their classic funk and soul is geared to make you move!
