This past weekend at New York Comic-Con lifted the veil on 'Star Wars' next TV iteration 'Star Wars Rebels' quite a bit, though Lucasfilm may be plotting even more phantom content than we might have realized. A new report suggests the company has begun plotting for two Darth Vader-themed TV specials potentially connected to the series, but what would they be about?

It seems like Darth Vader's turned a positive corner recently. He's become part of the Disney family after all, so maybe the whole hanging out with princesses thing is turning him into a softie. Or maybe he just got a bad rep all these years. Whatever the case, it doesn't seem like the Dark Lord is all that bad. Why? Well, these kiddos are proof.

For years, McDonald’s Happy Meals have been a mainstay when it comes to promotional tie-ins, especially for major movie releases but a French fast food chain called Quick has put those plastic toys to shame. The chain recently unveiled the ‘Dark Vador’ burger in celebration for the 3D release of ‘Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace’ in France.

Darth Vader being revealed as Luke Skywalker’s father in ‘Empire Strikes Back’ is such a well-known plot twist, it doesn’t even require a “spoiler alert.” However, that doesn’t mean that everybody knows that the ‘Star Wars’ rivals are father and son. George Lucas has angered ‘Star Wars‘ purists yet again by tinkering with the film’s original trilogy, this time in the upcoming Blu-Ray re-release of the films, which include previously deleted scenes and lines.
