National Guard

Governor Greg Gianforte has announced that help is on the way to Florida from the Montana National Guard, in response to Hurricane Ian.

"The paraglider and another man were launching from the 9700 ft peak using speed wings when the man crashed in a rocky chute approximately 500 ft below the summit."

Today, we traveled up to the Billings International Airport to welcome home the National Guard! They were treated to a water cannon salute as they taxied into the terminal.

Governor Tim Walz and the Mayors of Minneapolis and St. Paul specifically thanked the citizen-soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard for their involvement in the restoration of the peace that occurred overnight in the Twin Cities.
