This UM student from Amsterdam, MT speaks four languages, has a patent-pending tech gadget and will be attending Oxford University as one of just 32 Rhodes Scholarship recipients nationwide.

A record number of applications this year - nearly double from 2022 - prompted the committee to award an extra scholarship, thanks to the generous support of the Billings community.

Now in it's fourth year, Matt the Painter is offering $1,000 for youth aged 8 - 20 who are interested in starting their own business. Entry deadline is May 9th.

Neil Beyer is contributing 10% of his commissions to launch the new $1,000 scholarship.
