The National Weather Service here in Billings has reported a Hazardous Weather Outlook for South-central Montana and Northern Wyoming detailing significant amounts of precipitation, including snow in the mountains.
We try to cram as much fun stuff as we can into our fast moving spring and summer and it's great to have events back on the calendar around the Billings area.
What's shaping up to be a historic spring storm could bring feet of snow to areas of Montana over the next 48 hours. Winter Storm Wesley is expected to have blizzard-like conditions in the plains on Wednesday with 1-2 feet of snow and wind gusts up to 60 mph possible.
With space heaters and snow blowers working overtime, it's been weeks since we've gotten above 32 degrees. While we will likely see significant snow this weekend, Billings is expected to have high temperatures above the freezing mark almost every day until late March.
