Billings’ favorite end-of-summer party is back. Ales for Trails celebrates 25 years of beer, music, food, and fundraising for local trail projects.

It's been two years since the floods, why haven't these popular trail bridges been replaced yet? That was the question we asked last summer. Great news, the bridge at Woodbine Falls has now been replaced.

Spanning 9 miles along the old Oregon Short Line Railroad bed, this paved trail is designed for non-motorized use, making it an ideal spot for family outings, strolls, and bike rides.

You can get to about 25 yards from the falls safely. The roar of water fills the air.

It's the first of it's kind in Montana, made possible by a partnership with Billings Public Library, the Library Foundation, and McCall Homes.

The longer I looked, the more I saw in this incredibly detailed woodland fairy house. It's hidden in plain sight in a popular Billings park.

The annual Ales for Trails fundraiser will be held virtually this year (because of COVID-19) and instead of the big celebration and party at ZooMontana, Billings TrailNet will be selling punch cards for pints of beer at Montana's favorite breweries.
