When Will The Beartooth Highway Be Open? [VIDEO]

The scheduled opening of the Beartooth Highway for the 2014 summer travel season is Friday, May 23, 2014.The May 23 opening of the Beartooth Highway is dependent on the weather conditions, snowfall and snow plowing conditions.

I can tell you that crews are busy at work clearing the scenic highway for Spring and Summer travel!  If you have never seen the work that is involved in this annual project, you will enjoy this video from the cab of the machines working the highway!
