The nominations for the 2020 Grammy Awards are out, and Tool, Chris Cornell and Tony Iommi are among the artists whose works are up for consideration.

The awards will be handed out Jan. 26 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Tool receives two nods for their long-awaited Fear Inoculum LP, with "7empest" picking up a nomination for Best Metal Performance and the album's title track up for Best Rock Song. Iommi's work on Candlemass' "Astorlus - The Great Octopus" is also recognized in the Best Metal Performance category.

A box set that covers the breadth of late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell is nominated for Best Historical Package.

In other categories, Best Music Film includes both the David Crosby documentary Remember My Name and a four-part Showtime series about Rick Rubin's studio, Shangril-La, competing against each other.

The 38-CD Woodstock: Back to the Garden - The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive also snagged a nomination for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package and Best Historical Album.
