Did you see the premiere of the new Foo Fighter's HBO documentary series "Sonic Highways" this weekend?  It was excellent.  It's the first episode in an 8 part series which follows the Foo Fighters on a cross country trip where they interview, hang out with and jam with legendary artists from each city.

Their first stop was Chicago, which featured an outstanding profile of the legendary Blues musicians Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy.  It also featured a long list of classic rock icons including lifelong Chicago native Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen.

At the end of the episode, the Foo Fighters debuted a brand new single titled "Something from Nothing", featuring a guest appearance from Nielsen.  The song is great, but the show is even better.   Try to catch it if you can.  In the meantime, here's the video
