David’s Bridal Closing Down In Billings, To Be Sold Privately
Big news in the world of wedding dresses, tuxedos, and more... David's Bridal, the chain hooking you up with the fancy outfit for your weddings... is closing down 278 locations across the entire United States... and the Billings location isn't exempt.
I DO!... Not have any money
Earlier this year, David's Bridal released a statement about their plans to continue marketing and sales during their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, keeping stores open and fulfilling orders. Now, just under two months later, it seems all locations will be closing out their inventories at massive discounts... and the locations will be put up for sale.
Skipping The All You Can Eat Sushi Buffet
AG Real Estate Partners has taken up the challenge of getting rid of all David's Bridal locations in this Bankruptcy Auction. Inside, you'll find 278 locations ready to go, starting with 49 via a private sale in June.
Of those locations, Montana only holds one... right here in Billings on King Avenue West.
This location, an 8,000-square-foot building, is going up for private sale this month. AG Real Estate states the rent is $14.52 per square foot, which equals out to $116,160. Not too shabby for prime real estate on King Avenue!
NoDak... No Wedding
Our stately neighbors, North Dakota & South Dakota, are also going down without a fight, losing stores in Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Fargo.
