Ever since the great Harray Carey passed away in 1998, celebrities have singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch at Chicago Cubs game.  Last night, life long Cubs fan Eddie Vedder did the honors.  But not before he threw out the first pitch.

And unlike some recent celebrity first pitch fails, Eddie threw a strike over the plate.  This isn't the first time Eddie's partied at the Friendly Confines.  His rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" has become an annual event.  He's also spent many game partying with fans in the outfield bleachers.  And last year, when Pearl Jam played a concert at Wrigley Field, Eddie invited "Mr. Cub" Ernie Banks on stage to help him sand an original song he wrote about his favorite team.

Eddie's also not the first rock star to sing at Wrigley.  Jack White was the guest earlier this week.  And who could forget epic per Ozzy Osbourne's epic performance during the seventh inning stretch, which ranks among the worst renditions of any song ever.
