Despite the controversy surrounding 'Ender's Game' author Orson Scott Card and his views on homosexuality (which everyone seems to have forgotten about), we can still expect the film adaptation to hit this coming November 1. In preparation, Lionsgate has debuted the new IMAX poster and a slew of new images, making this young-adult adaptation look like a blast.

'Ender's Game' recently launched a marketing campaign in which fans could help design the latest poster, and Fandango debuted the final product, featuring our main hero, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), annihilating a planet in a dazzling display of laser beams. But before this can happen in the film, he has to hone his skills, and we get a look at what that entails in six new images, courtesy of MTV.

In 'Ender's Game,' Earth has barely survived an alien invasion. To ensure the prosperity of the human race, should another attack come in the future, a battle school academy was established in a floating space station. There, teens with exceptional skill in the art of war are trained to become the soldiers of the future, and Ender is burdened with glorious purpose in being the brightest of the bunch.

Some were hoping 'Ender's Game' would never see the light of day due to Card's status as an anti-LGBT advocate, having written multiple OP-ed pieces denouncing the lifestyle. However, in light of a recent call to boycott the film, Lionsgate released a statement in support of the gay community and distancing themselves from Card's views.

'Ender's Game' stars the likes of Asa Butterfield, Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley and Viola Davis. Check out the latest IMAX poster and batch of images below.
