On Friday, January 5th at 8:40 PM, BPD Officers responded to an injury accident at the 3100 block of King Avenue West.

Officers arrived on the scene and located a crashed vehicle with four juvenile occupants. Two occupants had been ejected from the vehicle during the accident.

One occupant, a 15-year-old male, was declared deceased on the scene. The other occupants were transported to a local hospital.

BPD Officers determined the vehicle was eastbound when the driver lost control, and left the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll. At this time, speed looks to be a contributing factor to the crash.

The BPD Crash Team responded and took over the investigation, and the scene was cleared as of 8:45 AM on Saturday, January 6th.
