The Healthy By Design Gardeners' Market is open this afternoon (Thursday 6/20) from 4:30 to 6:30pm at South Park, at the intersection of South 28th and 7th Avenue South.

Launched nine years ago, the Gardeners' Market will run every Thursday through October 3 and offers fresh produce and other direct-from-garden items at affordable prices.

Other weekly activities that you can enjoy at the Market include:

  • Live music: Local musicians perform twice a month.

  • Power of Produce (POP): Activities encourage shoppers to sample and learn about produce.

  • Pedal-Powered Library: The Billings Public Library brings books and information by bicycle, monthly from June through August.

  • Move at the Market: Healthy By Design coalition partners encourage movement and active transportation, such as walking and bicycling.

  • Gardening tips:  Yellowstone County Master Gardeners answer gardening questions each week and offer children’s activities including seed pictures and scavenger hunts.

Cash, debit and credit cards, WIC and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) are all accepted at The Gardeners' Market.
