Happy Hour is Only a Click Away

Happy Friday.  Let's hurry up and get this work thing over with and get the weekend started.  If you have an office job and you just can't wait until 5, you may want to check out "The Happy Hour Virus".  It's a website that allows you to download a fake virus onto your computer, rendering those last few agonizing hours at work useless and giving you an excuse to leave early.

The good news is:  there is a site that offers you the choice of afflicting your computer with a broken monitor, a kernal panic or even the dreaded blue screen of death.  The bad news is:  it's actually a fake site promoting an advertising agency in Colorado that claims to offer a "healthy balance" between work and play.  But at least the idea is out there.  Hopefully, a tech geek will see it and turn it into an actual service that we can all use to skip out of work a couple hours early.
