The Dead Daisies' new album, Make Some Noise, hits stores later this week, but we've got an exclusive early preview for you in the form of the swaggering "Last Time I Saw the Sun."

As you would expect from a group that's been busting its ass on the road for the past few years, the song is an autobiographical account of life on tour. "It's really indicative of our lifestyle," says Daisies guitarist Doug Aldrich. "You know, what's cool is, you think, How many more road songs do you need? Ad the answer is, just one. Because when you got a title as cool as 'The Last Time I Saw the Sun,' you just gotta go with it!"

The fast-rising supergroup -- which features Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, the Scream), David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) -- will be back on the road supporting Kiss for a month's worth of shows this summer to promote Make Some Noise. You can get all the date and ticket information at the band's official website.

Make Some Noise was recorded and produced by Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry) in Nashville, and includes 10 original songs plus two covers of iconic classic rock anthems: the Who’s "Join Together" and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s "Fortunate Son." You can pick up Make Some Noise at any of your favorite retail outlets starting this Friday, Aug. 5.
