It’s an Ultimate Classic Rock Stock Weekend on the Hawk

Remember when radio stations used to do wacky themed weekend all the time? Sometimes it would be a Z to A weekend, where they counted down the biggest songs in reverse alphabetical order. Or maybe you remember listening to weekend specials like "The Biggest Hits of the Summer" or "The Bad Boys of Rock Weekend." The themes were always different, and honestly, they were fun to listen to.

For Labor Day weekend this year, we've brought back the themed weekend with something pretty cool for you. It's our "Ultimate Classic Rock Stock Weekend", hosted by Uncle Joe Benson. Like Woodstock, only Rock Stock. It's 10 hours of legendary live performances with a bevy of bands from Aerosmith to Van Halen. Some of the biggest classic rock songs in the world, performed live at some of the biggest venues and most awesome concerts ever.

We figured since there has been basically no live concerts this year, we'll give you the next best thing. Part One will air Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM and Part Two will air Sunday from 2 PM to 7 PM.  Download the free Hawk Mobile App and you can take the show with you anywhere you've got a signal, or tell your smart speaker at home to play 103-7 The Hawk.
