It’s My Fault The Seahawks Lost

For the last five years, my friend Eric and I have placed a bet on the Super Bowl. He knows nothing of football. He places a bet because it's the one time a year that he actually cares enough to tune in to a game. He never even picks the team because they're just names to him. So far, he has never lost. Apparently just by selecting a team, I doom them to lose.

As I was watching the game, I somehow knew that even though I was less than two feet away from finally winning the bet, it wasn't going to happen. I didn't think it would be an interception though...I mean why would you risk passing half a yard from being the champs? Why? I'll tell you why: Because I picked them.
