Are Montana People Snobby?

If you polled Montana residents, I would have to believe that almost every person asked would say they are down to earth people, and they truly are.

However, that doesn't mean you won't find some of those people talking trash about other cities in Montana.

If you don't believe me, remind me again what most Montanans have nicknamed Great Falls again?

That's right, "G-Funk", which is not a compliment to the majority of residents in the city, nor is it meant to be one.

Butte is another city that people make out to be the butt of the joke quite often, and yes, I am being a bit tongue in cheek there. 😉

Even places like Bozeman, which is getting a bit too glitzy for most Montanans, has been given a not so kind nick name of "Boz-Angeles."

What City In Montana Is The Snobbiest?

Just because a few people look down at other cities they don't live in, doesn't mean every city has the same snobby attitude and level of hate towards other cities in Montana.

That's why Road Snacks wanted to find out which Montana city was truly filled with the snobbiest people.

If you are wondering how they decided on who topped the list,

We gathered up all of the places in Montana with populations of 2,000 people or more. This left us with a total of 32 places. Then, we looked at each place in terms of these snoot-er-iffic criteria (And no, its not a word. English snob.):

  • Median home price (Higher is snobbier)
  • Median household income (Higher is snobbier)
  • Percent of population with a college degree (Higher is snobbier)

So, very scientific; plus, it's just for fun, or is it?
