That being said, unfortunately there are breeds that are targeted as being problematic, hated, dangerous and more.  Those particular breeds could be the reason for your insurance company to drop your homeowner policy.

BSL Laws in Montana are a Little Fuzzy - But No Outlawed Breeds

For Montana, breed specific laws aren't in effect.  We are one of 16 states that don't have laws governing breeds that are considered dangerous.  However, our state does allow for local governments to set laws regarding specific breeds.

Even though Montana doesn't regulate breeds, your insurance company may have certain rules regarding them.  Those insurance companies could even drop your home coverage due to Fido.
