For those who loved watching Montana actress Lily Gladstone in "Killers of the Flower Moon" you'll have an opportunity to see her act on a regular basis in a new show that will premier this spring.

The award-winning book "Under the Bridge" by Rebecca Godfrey is a true crime story where the author follows the investigation of the murder of a young girl and eight teenagers are the suspects. In the television version adapted for Hulu, Rebecca Godfrey is played by Riley Keough and Lily Gladstone plays Cam Bentland. Deadline describes the character of Bentland as being "...one of the only women of color on the police force..." Gladstone will be a series regular.

During awards season, Gladstone used her platform to bring awareness to other indigenous artists and spoke to The Talks about being a role model for younger generations. Given the subject matter and her character, this latest project may give her another avenue to be an advocate.

The trailer is gripping. In moments it almost feels paranormal, and Gladstone's character seems like a genuine badass. When you watch, look for the quick scene of Gladstone tearing into a punching bag.

Where to Watch and When

The series will kick off on April 17 on Hulu. According to The Mary Sue, the premiere will be two episodes and then there will be weekly episodes after that. It's a Hulu Original, which puts it in the company of shows 'The Bear', 'Nine Perfect Strangers', and 'Only Murders in the Building.' Maybe we'll see Gladstone earn an Emmy nomination to go along with her Academy Award nomination and that Golden Globe award.
