The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office handled 551 calls for service and made 16 arrests during the week of May 25 through May 31, 2026, according to the agency's Weekly Activity Report. Deputies also wrote 310 case reports during the seven-day period.

Drug-Related Arrests

Three drug-related incidents resulted in arrests during the week.

Zachary Roberts, 39, was taken into custody on May 27 on a charge of distribution of dangerous drugs, stemming from an agency service assist call.

Jeremy Littlefield, 55, faced multiple charges after being arrested on May 26, including criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Littlefield was also arrested the following day, separately, on a misdemeanor contempt-of-court charge.

Cole Rickett, 36, was arrested May 30 on a charge of distribution of dangerous drugs on a county warrant.

Assault and Domestic Violence Cases

Partner and family member assault cases made up the largest single category of arrests for the week.

Gregory Knoble, 28, was arrested May 25 on a charge of Partner/Family Member Assault (PFMA) causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury to a partner or family member, second offense.

Alex Kuehner, 22, was arrested on May 29 and faced four separate charges: assault, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, PFMA partner/family no weapon first offense, and resisting arrest, all stemming from the same incident.

Nakoa Realbird, 30, was arrested May 30 on two charges: endangering the welfare of a child, PFMA, and PFMA partner/family, no weapon, first offense.

Lester Collins, 61, was arrested May 31 on two charges: criminal mischief with pecuniary loss of more than $1,500, and PFMA causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury to a partner or family member, first offense.

Jacob Adams, 19, received a notice to appear, rather than being taken into custody, on two charges following a May 26 incident: simple assault and criminal trespass to property.

Mark Blackeagle, 61, was arrested May 27 on a charge of assault on a peace officer or judicial officer causing bodily injury.

Disorderly Conduct

Joseph Kinderknecht, 31, was arrested May 29 on two disorderly conduct charges: disorderly conduct (1)(a)(i) through (1)(a)(vi) public safety risk, and threatening injury/profane language, first offense.

Rosa Wolf Black, 34, was arrested May 31 on a single disorderly conduct charge.

Tayler Kueffler, 32, was arrested on May 27 on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, which is also classified under disorderly conduct.

Impaired Driving

Tomas Olivas Loreto, 36, was arrested May 29 on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.

Obstruction

Alexander Dawes, 37, was arrested May 25 on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Warrant Arrests

Two individuals were arrested on county warrants.

Roger Smidt, 59, was taken into custody on May 28 on a charge of failure to register as a sexual or violent offender.

Cole Rickett, 36, referenced above in the drug section, was also arrested on a county warrant for distribution of dangerous drugs.

Vance Buford, 26, was arrested May 27 on a warrant from another jurisdiction on a charge of fugitives from justice.
