Under Armour Just Opened Its First Montana Store in Bozeman

For the first time, Montana shoppers have an Under Armour store in the state. The athletic apparel brand opened its Bozeman Sports House on September 18 at Gallatin Crossing.

The store at 2825 W. Main St. is Under Armour’s first physical retail location in Montana. It also introduces a new store format that brings together full price products and value options under one roof.

Where Is the New Under Armour Store in Bozeman?

The Under Armour Sports House is located at Gallatin Crossing, 2825 W. Main St. in Bozeman. According to Under Armour’s grand opening page, store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Under Armour says the store is about 1.5 miles from Montana State University. The company has been the university’s official athletic gear supplier since 2012, and that partnership has been extended through 2030.

Bozeman Store Combines Two Under Armour Concepts

The Bozeman location is not a traditional Under Armour store. Under Armour says it combines elements of the company’s premium Brand House and value driven Factory House formats.

Shoppers will find the brand’s latest performance products and full price merchandise, along with a broader selection at different price points. Bozeman is the first Under Armour location to combine the Brand House and Factory House formats in one store.

Interactive Fitting Rooms and a Sports Viewing Screen

The store includes interactive fitting rooms that can identify the items shoppers bring inside and help customers find another size or color.

The store also includes a large screen for watching sports. A company representative said Bozeman is the first Under Armour store to include that type of sports viewing feature.

How Montana State Is Featured Inside the Store

Montana State athletes are featured on displays inside the new store. Under Armour also plans to host MSU athletes there.

The opening comes just before Montana State’s Homecoming week. Under Armour says its opening events are designed to involve Montana State students, athletes, fans, local high school athletes, and families.

Under Armour has scheduled a Homecoming tailgate activation at Montana State on September 26. Its grand opening page also lists giveaways and other activities through September 26.

Why Under Armour Opened Its First Montana Store in Bozeman

Under Armour says it had already seen established e-commerce demand from customers across Montana before opening a physical store in the state. The company said the Bozeman location gives it a chance to bring its products closer to those customers.

The new store carries Under Armour apparel, footwear, performance gear, and outdoor focused products. It also gives Bozeman shoppers a dedicated Under Armour store in Montana for the first time.
