The best sandwich shop in Montana is the legendary Pickle Barrel.
The Pickle Barrel was started in Bozeman back in 1975 by Ken and Kerry Olson and has become a right of passage for MSU students, locals, and tourists. Not only are the sandwiches delicious, they're also massive and with both hot and cold sandwich options, you won't have any issue finding a favorite or two or three.
Currently, the Pickle Barrel has two locations. The original location is in Bozeman next to the MSU campus and the second location is in downtown Livingston. Other sandwich shops receiving love from Distinctly Montana include The Uphill Grill in Helena and Tagliare Delicatessen in Missoula
