My wife and I live close to the Bozeman Costco and spend a lot of time and money at the store. We buy paper towels, toilet paper, protein drinks, dog toys, and pre-prepared dinners at Costco. Heck, we even use the Costco pharmacy.
So when I ran across information on the number one selling item from Costco across Montana, it piqued my interest.

Before I read the actual data, I figured it would be something like meat or pizza from the Food Court. I mean, I couldn't tell you how many of those rotisserie chickens we buy each year (they're delicious) however, meat wasn't the answer, nor were any of the big bulk items that Costco is known for.
Nope, the best-selling item in Montana Costco stores is a sweet treat, and to be honest, I'm not familiar with it.
What is the most popular item sold at Montana Costco stores?
I've had all the cakes and pies and cookies from Costco, but while this is kind of a desert, it's pre-packaged and not something made in the store or by the Kirkland brand. The most popular selling item in Montana Costco stores according to Cheapism is Reeses Dipped Animal Crackers.

I've never tried them, so I have no idea if they're good, but if they're the most popular selling item in Montana Costco stores, I'm assuming they are.

It's interesting because our friends over in Idaho and South Dakota went with the Kirkland Italian-style beef Meatballs, while the North Dakotans went with the hot dog and soda combo from the Costco Food Court.
