This year, the holidays have been pretty grim, at least for me and those close to me. But I think there's some folks who desperately need some recognition, and those are the nurses who help those with medical needs every single day. I have something important to say that I don't think you get often; thank you so very much for everything you do.

I Don't Want to Know a World Without Nurses

I believe we underestimate nurses during our hospital visits, when in all actuality nurses are the backbone of the healthcare industry. They are not only the first people to come into contact with you when you arrive at the hospital, but if you're staying for any period of time, they're the ones to administer all of your tests and medication.

In 2021, Billings actually had a shortage of nurses, with over 100 nursing positions available at Billings Clinic in October of 2021. Nursing positions are constantly needed across all of our hospitals, so if you're a nurse we would love to have your help in our city. In fact, we need your help.

Nurses Made our Holidays More Hopeful

I think I can speak for my entire family when I say that this year, I'm extremely proud and thankful for our nurses for everything that they do. If it weren't for them, our family would have experienced an absolute tragedy this Christmas. They work day in and day out for us, and it's so amazing.
